Robert V "Pop-Pop"  Harman
Pop Pop, as he wished, was surrounded by his loving family at home on Sunday, May 25, 2014 when he left us to join his infant son Stephan Robert Harman.

Pop Pop enjoyed watching his grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sports activities, plays and school events.

Pop Pop was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Gertrude Harman; and his brothers, Chester, James and Charles Harman. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Reynolds Harman; daughters, Debbie Gerber, Diane Johnston (James) and Dawn Ford (Andrew); grandchildren, Stacy Wenner (Michael), Michael Simpers (Ashley), Jennifer Johnston, David Gerber, Ashley and Brittany Ford; great grandchildren, Tyler Noethiger, Alexis and Delaney Wenner, Mackenzie, Adam and Kylie Simpers; brother-in-law, Col. (retired) Robert M. Reynolds; sister-in-law Lois Huggins (Joseph) and many nieces and nephews throughout the Country.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Thursday, May 29 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, Pa.

The family wishes to express their grateful thanks to Dr. Alan Warrington and his staff for their excellent care as well as Delaware Hospice for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to either First Presbyterian Church of Newark, DE, the American Cancer Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
