William C. Ungerer Sr.

William C. Ungerer Sr., age 79, of Newark, formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Christiana Care from complications of pneumonia.

Bill owned W.C. Ungerer Insurance for over 57 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge 847, the Elks Lodge in New Castle, Masonic Solomon Lodge 36, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Atterbury VFW and Eagles 74.

Bill enjoyed camping, scuba diving, and listening to country music.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce; and his parents, Walter and Ruth.

He is survived by his wife of almost 33 years, Brenda; children, Susan (Michael), Will, Allen, Brian (Judon), Teresa and Travis; numerous grandchildren and some great grandchildren.
