Wayne Strong

Wayne J. Strong, Jr, “Jas” age 53, of Wilmington, went to be with The Lord on Monday, October 3, 2016.

Jas worked as a roofing mechanic for over 30 years and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed his meetings with his friends at Banning Park to socialize with their dogs, fishing, and working on cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Sr. and Miriam Ruth Watson.

Jas is survived by his wife, Denise M. Strong; sisters, Bonnie Tesone and Clifford of Apollo, PA; Anne Strong-Broadard and Edwin Broadard of New Castle, and Donna; brother, Kenneth Chichura and Shirley of Millville, NJ; step daughters, Christina Boccassini, and Jennifer Bernfield; niece, Kassandra Santos and his beloved animals, his dog Snickers, and Cat, Snow;

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:30 . For reservations and directions to the service please email sweetpea316262@hotmail.com. Burial will be private.
