Thomas "Tommy" Spahn

Thomas "Tommy" Spahn, age 66, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Tommy worked as a mechanic in construction for many years. He was a devoted husband and caring father. Tommy was known for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed tubing down the Brandywine, camping, and going to the Delaware beaches. 

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Veronica; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Rylee Spahn.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; son, Joshua (Bonnie); daughter, Kristen (Dwayne); step daughters, Lauren (Jimmy) and Courtney; sisters, Maryanne, Emma Jane and Veronica; and many loving grandchildren, one great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 6:00 PM
