Terry A Durham, 68 years old, has left us. She is known to Delaware, Chester, And Brookhaven Pennsylvania as the "cleaning lady". For many years she worked and thrived as manager and cashier at SEC cleaners laundromat with her best friend Jimmy. She was always fiery and fiesty and had an ever growing personality. She loved animals, they were her passion, and she'd never be caught without a Pepsi and cigarettes. Growing up we always had a house full of animals and good times and warm memories. I will always treasure those.
Growing up Mommy loved Kentucky and she was the happiest there. She loved freedom she had mommom, her mother, poppop, her father, and 2 brothers, Johnny and Bobby. She had a lot of ups and downs and faults but she always had strength. She lost so much. She was an avid reader and loved plants and music and that's where she met the love of her life, Joe, my dad. They had me and my older brother Justin and Randy and Susan, Joey, Linda and Tommy from their prior marriages. They had many wonderful years together, when she lost him her whole world imploded, both of ours did. But we were strong and made it through. She many not have been the best or perfect but she was my mother and I hope she's at peace and in a better place now.
Surviving her are me Jamey, her Daughter, Johnny her brother and wife Bev, Randy her son and wife Alisha and children Randy and Hunter, My uncle David and family in Kentucky. My dad's side of the family surviving her, My aunt Lisa, and her Husband Rob and the children, Kimmy, Sarah, Ryan and Brett along with the all their children. I hope we can all at least have one positive memory of her. And I hope we can all learn from her strength and never give up.
With love always mommy. Be at peace.
Jamey
