Tara Lynne Watts-Demby

Tara, 46, of New Castle, DE passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Born in Wilmington, DE on September 8, 1979, she is the daughter of Beverly and Eddie Watts.

Tara worked for many years as a Nursing Assistant for the state of Delaware before leaving the workforce and channeling her focus on family and her multiple hobbies including arts & crafts and baking. She most enjoyed any opportunity to be amongst family and friends hosting and/or attending game nights where she excelled in trivia, being on party planning committees, celebrating her and other’s milestones or just the casual meetups to keep in touch. With a generous heart and selflessness disposition she showed it’s possible to connect with any and everybody when humanity leads.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Demby, daughter, Elyse Demby, Parents; Beverly Watts and Eddie Watts, siblings; Carl Watts (Dominique), Eddina Watts and Eddie Watts Jr.

The family would like to Thank all of Tara’s friends who have showed a helping dose in the outpouring of love and care as we all navigate this tremendous loss of life.
