Steve Guzman

Steve Guzman, age 43, of Newark, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Steve was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Bell Gardens High School in 2001. He was a dedicated Costco employee working mostly in the bakery section for over 22 years. Steve enjoyed collecting watches and he loved his dogs.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Hermilo Guzman and his grandparents, Fidel, Ninfa and Guillermo.

Survivors include his mother, Elivia Guzman; brother, William Guzman (Mary); grandmother, Carmen Broncales and his beloved dog, Luna.

A viewing will be held from 6 - 8 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road Newark, DE 19711. Burial will be private.
