Stainton "John John" Fletcher

John John, age 78, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Kingston, Jamaica transitioned on Monday, May 12, 2025.

John John worked as a foreman for a concrete company for many years. He was a practicing original Rasta. John John enjoyed horse racing, Jamaican football, farming, watching old western movies, listing to old school reggae classic roots lovers rock and outdoor gatherings. He loved music and was devoted to his family.

John John was preceded in death by his sisters, Nora Smith and Erna Fletcher.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer, who he was together with for 50 over years; children, Tuga Fletcher, Gairy Fletcher, Noreen Fletcher, Dionne Boone, Kennesha Fletcher, Kerry Ann Fletcher, and Kemar Fletcher; siblings, Annie Rice, Yvonne Garden and Harold Fletcher; many grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am.
