Robert John Moon

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert John Moon, who left us peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 85. Surrounded by his family, Robert passed away at his son's residence in Tahuya, Washington.

Robert served in the United States AirForce and was a proud retiree from the City of Newark and a long-time resident of Delaware. Robert lived in his Wilmington home before his recent illness.

Robert's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his two devoted sons, Bryan Moon and John Moon; his daughter-in-law, LaTonya Moon; and his wonderful grandsons, Ricky and Cliff Moon. He is now reunited in passing with his beloved wife, Carol, and his loving daughter, Shannon.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Robert's life at a memorial service on Saturday, May 30th, at 11 AM, visitation will begin at 10 AM, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, Delaware 19804.
