Rae C. Goldsborough, age 83, of Newport, formerly of Marydel, passed away at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Rae was a life time member of the Marydel Fire Company and was an instructor at the Delaware State Fire School for many years.
Rae was an avid Phillies and Eagles Fan. She also enjoyed wood working, refinishing wood, gardening and fishing.
Rae was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William G. "Bill" Goldsborough, who passed away in 2003; and her sons, Gary William and Harry Edward Goldsborough.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Durrance; grandchildren, Harry Goldsborough (Jessica), Brandon Hamm (Ashley), Logan Griffith (Chris), Ryan Schuyler and Shayna Goldsborough; and great grandchildren, Taylor, Ian, Liam, Zach, Allie, Emersyn, Caden, Gabrielle and Bodhi.
Services will be private.
