Quincey "Quin" R. Dykes, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away suddenly at home on July 12, 2026, at the age of 61.

Born in 1964, in Gainesville, Florida, Quin moved to Delaware with his family as a young boy, where he met the love of his life, Dana Fahey. Growing up as childhood friends in the Willow Run neighborhood, Quin and Dana shared countless cherished memories. They were married on November 10, 1984, and were blessed with three children, who remained the pride and joy of Quin's life.

Quin was known for his larger-than-life personality, quick wit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a deep love for rock music and could often be found singing along to his favorite classic rock songs, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, "Boo Eagles!"

For more than 20 years, Quin worked in the HVAC industry, but to those who knew him best, he was far more than his profession. He was the person everyone called when something needed fixing or figuring out. A true handyman, Quin was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors, or anyone in need.

Above all else, Quin's greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children and absolutely adored his granddaughters, Sophia and Quinn. Whether he was playing with the girls, sharing stories, making them laugh, or spending time surrounded by his children, those moments brought him his greatest happiness. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.

"The Mighty Quinn" leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.

Quin is survived by his wife, Dana Dykes (Fahey); his children, Dallas Dykes, Kathryn Dykes, and Christina Rappaport and her husband, Brian; his cherished granddaughters, Sophia and Quinn Rappaport; his siblings, Billy Dykes, Bobby Dykes, and Judy Robinson; as well as many nieces, nephews, fantasy football buddies, lifelong friends, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Roxie Dykes; his brother, Donald Dykes; and his brother-in-law, Mark Robinson.

Though Quin may no longer be with us, his laughter, his songs, his generosity, and the love he shared with those around him will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

"The Mighty Quinn" will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️
