Zeke, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him for the way his life was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Preston attended Cecil County Public School System, Preston worked for Material Transit Trucking Company. He was also employed at Winner Ford and Nucar Connection for many years, until retirement, he was a member of Dale United Methodist Church in Middletown, Delaware. His dedication to his faith and his desire to bring light to those in need epitomized his joyful and generous nature. He was also a faithful member of the MOT Male Chorus.
Preston found joy in music and the open road. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed crabbing and detailing cars. His real love, however, was being around family and friends and simply enjoying life.
Those who knew Preston will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Although Preston's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
