Peter Bazzani

Peter Joseph Bazzani, 63, passed away on May 26, 2025 at home with his siblings.

He was born in Wilmington where he resided his entire life before retiring to Saint Georges a few years ago. Pete worked as a mechanic in the auto resale industry for nearly 40 years, most recently for Fran's Car Corral. He was generous with his time and everybody's go-to guy to solve a tricky car problem. Pete loved to shoot pool and competed in local, regional and national tournaments over more than 30 years. He enjoyed jokes, pranks, meticulously chosen lottery numbers, and spending time with the family and friends for whom he will be forever missed.

Pete was preceded in death by his his mother and step father Jacqueline (Cooper) and Lewis Newcomer, his father John Bazzani, and his dear sister Karen Shields. He is survived by brothers Ralph Jones and Kevin Bazzani, sister Julie Webb, brother-in-law Jim Shields, sister-in-law Wendy (Grzybowski) Bazzani, many nieces, nephews and their children, his close friends, and his most ever beloved cat Mischief.

All are welcome to attend a celebration of Pete's life on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 5pm - 8pm at the West End Club, 812 S Franklin St. Wilmington, DE 19805.
