Paul Albert Neutz

Paul Albert Neutz, age 83, of Newark and Rehoboth Bay Community , passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2026 at his home in the presence of his wife and daughter.

Paul was a graduate of Brandywine High School, class of 1960, and Widener University. He was the Plant Manager for Johnson Controls in New Castle and Coin Room Operations Manager for AT Systems. After retirement Paul worked part time for Champion Trophies.

Paul was a member and former elder at Red Clay Presbyterian Church. He volunteered with Friendship House, Emmanuel Dinning Room and the Food Bank of Delaware. The Blood Bank of Delaware honored Paul when he made his 100th Platelet donation saving many lives. 

As a youth Paul earned the Eagle Scout Award which is the highest achievement and rank attainable in the Scouts. He enjoyed counted cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles and spending time at the beach. He was a Philadelphia sports fan and was a season ticket holder for the Eagles.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Erwin Neutz and Rosalind Collins Neutz.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Neutz; daughter, Shanda Allison Neutz; sister, Linda Lyon and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 24 at Red Clay Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808 where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Red Clay Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer's Association , Alzheimer's Association .
