Paul H. "Chris" Henretty Jr.

Paul H. "Chris" Henretty Jr., age 69, of Wilmington, formerly of Newark, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday August 24, 2025.

Chris was born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 20,1955 to late COL. Paul and Barbara Henretty. Chris graduated from Dickenson High School in 1973. He worked for Budco Construction for many years and also worked at Comegy's Pub for the past 30 years until he retired in July 2024.

Chris was a devoted Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed playing golf and playing softball as a first base man with JV Auto and many years of Joe Flynn League. He was known as Turk. Chris and Tammie enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach,SC with friends and he loved to cook and grill.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bobbie Henretty; and his son, Paul Lewis Henretty.

Chris is survived by the love of his life of 31 years, Tammie Henretty of Wilmington ; and his sister, Cynthia Lee Henretty of Wilmington, Delaware and his grandson Giovanni Henretty of Newark,Delaware.

Services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at CATALYST COMMUNITY CHURCH, 410 Denver Road Wilmington, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.
