Nathan Lopez

Nathan Lopez, age 16, of the Newark area, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Nathan was a junior at Newark High School. He enjoyed video games and watching sports, especially soccer and basketball. Nathan had a great sense of humor and a huge heart. He always had jokes to make and would bring a bright smile to all he met.

Nathan is survived by his father, Angel Lopez and brother, Edwin Lopez. He also leaves behind his dog, Amari, who he loved so much.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE where visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Burial will be private.

Nathan López, de 16 años, del área de Newark, falleció el miércoles 8 de octubre de 2025. 

Nathan era un estudiante de tercer año en Newark High School. Disfrutaba de los videojuegos y de ver deportes, especialmente fútbol y baloncesto. Nathan tenía un gran sentido del humor y un gran corazón. Siempre tenía bromas que hacer y traía una brillante sonrisa a todos los que conocía. 

A Nathan le sobreviven su padre, Ángel López y su hermano, Edwin López. También deja atrás a su perro, Amari, a quien amaba mucho. 

Se celebrará una misa conmemorativa a la 1 pm el sábado 25 de octubre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica Holy Angels, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE, donde la visita comenzará a las 11:30 am. El entierro será privado.
