Nancy Renee Seward

 Nancy Renee Seward, age 60, of Townsend, formerly of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Renee attended Conrad High School and worked at Country Maid, Valero, and Walmart in New Castle. She was a member of Smyrna Wesleyan Church where she was baptized and taught bible study.

Renee enjoyed caring for animals, reading and listening to music. She liked to walk in nature and always liked to make people happy. Renee loved her family, especially her children.

Renee is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, William Seward Sr., who passed in 2023; and Garnie Miller Jr., Nanita Ellis, Robin Miller, Shirley Ellis and Daniel Ellis.

Survivors include her son, Billy Seward Jr.; daughter, Shirley Seward; parents, Nancy Miller and Garnie Miller; granddaughter, Khloe Seward; sisters, Cindy Parrish and Pamela Bates (Tim); brother, Steve Ellis; and other extended family.

Services will be held at a later date.
