Mitchell B. Angle

Mitchell B “Mitch” Angle, age 64, of Newark, formerly of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 after a short illness.

Mitch was a 1978 graduate of Middletown High School where he played baseball and wrestled. He worked as a master carpenter. Mitch loved Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. He enjoyed fishing, thrifting and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren Aliyanna, David and Rosalie.

Mitch was preceded in death by his brother, Mark and parents, Ken and Patricia.

Mitch is survived by his children, Briana Angle, Angeline Angle and Alexander Angle along with their mother, Jennifer Angle, Mitchell Angle and Samantha Popper; numerous grandchildren; 2 siblings and other extended family.

Funeral Services will be at 1pm on Saturday, August 2 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
