Miguel Zavala Diaz

Miguel Zavala Díaz, conocido cariñosamente como “El Joco”, nació en Guanajuato, México. Fue un hombre alegre, cariñoso y aventurero que llevó risas y felicidad a todos los que lo rodeaban.

Miguel fue un católico devoto y un hombre de familia. Compartió 43 años de matrimonio con su amada esposa, Elvia Lopez de Zavala. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos y tenía un cariño muy especial por los niños. Era juguetón, sociable y siempre estaba dispuesto a hacer reír a los demás. A menudo les decía en broma a los niños que, si ganaba la lotería, les compraría sus propias casas.

Miguel fue un hombre trabajador y aventurero. Antes de abrir su propio camión de tacos, trabajó como recolector de hongos. Más adelante se convirtió en dueño de su propio camión de tacos, donde su amor por las personas y su personalidad alegre le permitieron conectar con muchos. Le encantaba bailar, cantar, salir, disfrutar de nuevas aventuras y aprovechar la vida. Era aficionado al fútbol americano, fútbol y béisbol, y disfrutaba tanto verlos como jugarlos.

Miguel fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Luis Zavala y Catalina Diaz.

Deja atrás a su amada esposa, Elvia; a sus hijos, Miguel y su esposa Maria; Carlos; Deisy y su esposo Gilberto; Brenda; y Monica y su prometido Alvaro; y a sus nietos, Alexander, Dulce, Abril, Carlos, Camila y Jimena.Miguel será recordado por su espíritu alegre, su risa contagiosa, su amor por la familia y los amigos, y la felicidad que llevó a todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo.

Que descanse en paz y que su memoria viva para siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.

La misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el martes 6 de octubre a las 6:30 pm en la Iglesia Católica de San Roque, ubicada en 333 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. El velorio tendrá lugar en el mismo lugar de 4:30pm - 6:30 pm. Miguel Zavala Díaz, affectionately known as “El Joco,” was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a joyful, loving, and adventurous man who brought laughter and happiness wherever he went.

Miguel was a devoted Catholic and a proud family man. He shared 43 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Elvia Lopez de Zavala. He loved spending time with family and friends and had a special love for children. He was playful, social, and always ready to make someone laugh. He often joked with the children that if he won the lottery, he would buy them their own homes.

Miguel was a hardworking and adventurous man. Before opening his own taco truck, he worked as a mushroom harvester. He later became a taco truck owner, where his love of people and outgoing personality allowed him to connect with many. He loved dancing, singing, being out and about, and enjoying life. He was a fan of football, soccer, and baseball and enjoyed both watching and playing sports.

Miguel was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Zavala and Catalina Diaz.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elvia; his children, Miguel and his wife Maria; Carlos; Deisy and her husband Gilberto; Brenda; and Monica and her fiancé Alvaro; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Dulce, Abril, Carlos, Camila and Jimena.Miguel will be remembered for his cheerful spirit, infectious laughter, love of family and friends, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

May he rest in eternal peace and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6, at 6:30 pm at St. Rocco Catholic Church, 333 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311; the viewing will take place at the same location from 4:30 pm to 6:30 p.m.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 7 (time to be announced soon) at All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware.
