Martin Lloyd “Marty” Clark, age 85, of Landenberg, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Marty graduated from Salesianum High School in 1958 and then continued on to graduate from the University of Maryland. He served in the United States Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base and Wheelus Air Force Base. Marty worked as an information specialist for USDA in Beltsville, MD, Gainesville, FL, Windsor, OT and Little Rock, AR. He also co-owned, with his wife and son, a TCBY in New Castle, DE for many years.

Marty enjoyed golfing and officiating football in New Castle High Schools and other locations where he lived. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grand children and great grandchildren.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Constance; sister, Constance Clark; brothers, Francis and Jeffery and grandson, Calvin Payne.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patricia; son, Gregory (Diane); daughter, Heather Payne; brother, Michael Clark (Linda); grandchildren, Mason, Eric (Jamie), Krissy (David), Jill (Ryan), Carly, Benny, Paige and Bailey; and great grandchildren, Jameson, Hunter, Quinn and Cora.

Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road Bear, DE 19701.
