Marjorie Bauerle

Marjorie “Marge” Bauerle, age 85, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Marjorie graduated from St. Matthew Grade School and Conrad High School and worked as an executive administrative assistant for Head Start for 25 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church where she was involved in the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Marjorie was an avid animal lover and sun and beach enthusiast. She deeply loved and cared for her family with devotion, strength and unwavering support.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Bauerle and her daughter, Roxanne Bauerle.

Marjorie is survived by her beloved partner of 40 and a half years, Rodney Carroll; her loving daughter, Julie Bauerle (Steve Gillespie); her eldest grandson, Thomas Bauerle (Heather) and loved and adored by many great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, July 22 at St. MATTHEW'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 901 E Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
