Marie V. Bailey, age 94, of Wilmington, DE passed away quietly on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the home where she was born, lived and passed.
She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Five Points Fire Company #17. She enjoyed bowling and knitting.
Maries was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Bailey' her brother, Charles Beckley and a nephew, Richard Beckley. She is survived by Betty Beckley, John Beckley, Barbara and James Sanes, Cindy and William Wood.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 212 East Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
The family suggests donations to the Ladies Auxiliary of Five Points Fire Company #17., 209 South Maryland Avenue., Wilmington DE 19804.
