Linda Barlow

Linda Sue Barlow, age 68, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She spent many years working at Sears as a visual merchandising specialist, but the heart of her life was her family and her home. In her down time, Linda enjoyed reading, following social media streamers, staying engaged with current events, and taking part in thoughtful political discussions, (WINNING) along with playing computer games and watching her favorite "Trashy TV" shows.

Linda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her main focus in life was raising her children and helping with her grandchildren as much as possible. Family is what mattered most to Linda. She was always happiest when everyone was together and did everything in her power to gather them as often as possible, whether it was pool-side barbeque's or regular Sunday dinners around her oversized dinner table. Bringing her family together around a fresh cooked meal was definitely Linda's trademark to any one who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Connie (Nick), Robert III (Katie), and David (Amanda); her brother, Mike (Barbara); and her cherished grandchildren, Damien, Ethan, Ryan, Owen, Aunna, Destiny, Jayden, Avah, and Harper.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 7 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
