Katherine Harris, age 65, of New Castle, went off to serve God in a new chapter on Wednesday, September 16, 2026

Katherine was a good, loving, laughing, caring mom and the best grandmom. She was loved by many.

She worked for 22 years as a house keeper and did her job well. Before that she also worked as a CNA in New York for many years.

Katherine loved to dance and knit and she liked the beach in New York. She enjoyed watching tv and her favorite was any Bruce Lee movie.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Harris, and was 1 of 13 loving siblings. Left to mourn her are her sisters, Helen Anderson, Loretta Marshall and Regina Johnson; children, Coreen Harris, Tameka Johnson and Barbara Tolbert; and grand children, Aniya Quarterman, Emory Harris, Dezzaray Goldsbury, London Johnson and Katai Johnson.
