June sadly passed away on May 7, 2015 from cancer. Born in Wilmington, DE the only child of Curtis F. and Edna Allmond Clifton on February 2, 1949. She attended Peniel UMC and graduated from H. J. Krebs and H. C. Conrad (67). June and her family moved to Orlando in 1976 where she earned a degree from Seminole State College.
Always artistic, she studied piano and was entranced by Delaware's lovely spring blooms and autumns turning leaves and returned many many times to Delaware to enjoy them.
June and her family sailed on a Thanksgiving 2014 Caribbean cruise during a lull in her illness, leaving a treasury of fond memories. Her many friends will dearly miss a beautiful, loyal, congenial, bright, witty and gracious lady.
Her survivors are her sons, Lionel Hubbs and his daughter Sunnie both of Boise Idaho and Alexander "AJ" Hubbs and his wife Jaimie and their children, Sam and Katie all of Orlando, FL; her dearest cousin, Linda Ferguson Gill and her husband Dennis of Woodbridge, VA; her aunt, Betty Clifton Hobbs of Wilmington, DE; her cousins, Curtis Clifton and his wife Lisa, Robert Clifton and his wife Jude and Karen Clifton Merritt and her husband Ken all of Wilmington, DE; her nieces, Sarah Hubbs and Kristen Jefferson also of Wilmington, DE and her former husband Joseph A. Hubbs of Orlando, FL.
