Josephine Louise Seitz

d. July 24, 2025

With deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Josephine Louise Seitz, who entered eternal rest on July 24, 2025.

Born on August 13, 1928, in Chester, Pennsylvaniz to Joseph Ragni and Ermina Pandoli. She survived her brothers, Emidio and Natale, as well as sisters, Pasqualina , Palmina (Pal), Ida, Rose and Edith. Josephine raised three beloved sons, Francis, David and Joseph, along with her sister, Edith who were both caretakers of the family. Their strength and unwavering dedication provided for the family with love and respect. Josephine and Edith worked at Scott Paper Company for over 30 years, sharing the responsiblility of caring for her three boys and Edith’s daughter Kathy (Savistani). Josephine was a woman of profound strength of will and generosity. As her sons grew older, she continued her life of kindness by cooking and baking, which was her second love.

A proud member of the Catholic Church, her faith guided her life and the way she treated others. She loved music, dancing, and preparing meals that brought everyone together at the table. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren,

She is survived by her sons, Francis and his wife Frances, her son David and his wife Michelle, her son Joseph, her treasured grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Kelly (deceased), Toni, Brian, Heather, Jay Jay, and Sarah and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her life was a shining example of love in action—rooted in faith, service, and family. Josephine will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life and Burial at St. Francis de Sales will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your local animal shelter.
