Jose Antonio Juarez-Leon, lovingly known as “Papi Lindo” and “Pretty Boy,” was born on May 17, 2003, in Wilmington, Delaware, and passed away on August 14, 2025, at the young age of 22.
Jose’s pride and joy were his two beloved sons, Thiago Matias Juarez (2) and Joshua Antonio Juarez (1). He dedicated every moment of his life to being a loving and devoted father.
He is survived by his parents, Magaly Leon and Benito Juarez, and his siblings: Kayshla, Liz-Odalis, Dylan, Neymar, Hayden, Graciela, Melissa, Benito Jr., Maryelalycia, Genoveva, and Noelia. Jose was also a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, who adored him and will carry his memory in their hearts. He will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Among them, his favorite uncle, Julito Maraña, held a special place in his heart.
Born and raised in Wilmington, Jose’s vibrant personality and contagious energy touched everyone who knew him. He loved playing soccer, being surrounded by family, and creating memories with his closest friends, Memo and Abi. Jose was the life of every gathering, known for his humor, charisma, and unforgettable phrase, “Dejala Que Chiche.”
Jose’s memory will forever live on through his children, his family, and all who were blessed to know and love him. His spirit, laughter, and love will never be forgotten.
Funeral Services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 2 at Catalyst Community Church, 410 Denver Road, Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
