Jason Wilson

Jason R. Wilson, age 50, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Jason worked for the Red Clay School District for 18 years. He enjoyed watching the Flyers, Phillies and Eagle, riding his Harley, being with family and friends and his weekly dinners with his Mom and Shane. His greatest joy came from watching Shane excel at his chosen sport of baseball.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wilson and sister, Julie Hoffecker.

Jason is survived by his son, Shane Wilson; mother, Agnes Wilson; aunt and uncle, Christine and Joe Finnegen; niece, Abby Hoffecker and numerous cousins.

Funeral Services will be at Noon on Thursday, February 26 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, Delaware 19804 where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private. Additional parking is available at Peniel United Methodist Church, 115 E Market St, Newport, DE 19804.
