Janet L Bauer

Janet L. Bauer, age 76, of Newark, DE, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Janet graduated from Trenton High School and Rowan University. She was a music teacher for several years and also worked as a librarian at Ewing Library in Ewing, New Jersey. Janet was a longtime active member of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Trenton, New Jersey. She enjoyed playing the Harp, was an avid reader and loved her dogs and cats. Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, George Bauer in 2015; her sister, Mary Christina DiIorio and brother, Rodney Jones, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Bauer; son, Michael Bauer; brother, David Jones; grandchildren, Sir William Bauer, Jamare Walker, II, Tahzara Walker, Christopher Bauer and Leah Bauer and other extended family.

Services will be private.
