Jairo N. Martínez-Pérez, de New Castle, Delaware, falleció a los 36 años tras una vida llena de fuerza tranquila, pasiones profundas y un corazón sensible.

Jairo, un dedicado jinete de caballos de ejercicio, encontró un propósito y orgullo en su trabajo. Su vínculo con los caballos decía mucho de su espíritu paciente y su corazón decidido. La pista era más que un trabajo; era un lugar de propósito, paz y conexión. Los caballos no eran solo animales para él, eran compañeros, amigos y parte de lo que era.

Fuera de la pista, Jairo era un ávido aficionado al fútbol. Le encantaba este deporte tanto como jugador como espectador, y animaba con fervor a su equipo favorito, el Barcelona. Ya fuera viendo un gran partido o jugando al fútbol, este deporte le proporcionaba alegría y un sentido de pertenencia.

Jairo apreciaba el tiempo que pasaba con su amada prometida, Evelyn, y encontraba alegría en las risas y el amor de Los hijos y nietos de tal que iluminaban sus días.

Estaba orgulloso de ser padre de Jairo Martínez Jr. y llevaba a su familia en el corazón, incluyendo a su madre, Salomé Francisca Pérez, y a su padre, Arnoldo Martínez Fabián.También lo recuerdan con cariño sus hermanos: Erwin, Areli, Deborah, Imer y Julia.

Aunque Jairo siguió un camino tranquilo, su presencia dejó una huella imborrable. Vivió una vida basada en el trabajo duro, sus pasiones profundas y una devoción silenciosa por sus seres queridos. Aquellos que conocieron su corazón lo extrañarán profundamente y lo recordarán para siempre.

Jairo N. Martinez-Perez, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away at the age of 36 after a life lived with quiet strength, deep passions, and a heart that felt deeply. Originally from Kentucky, Jairo made New Castle his home for 13 years, where he built a life centered around the things he loved most—horses, soccer, and the people who mattered to him.

A dedicated exercise horse rider, Jairo found purpose and pride in his work. His bond with horses spoke volumes about his patient spirit and determined heart. The track was more than a job; it was a place of purpose, peace, and connection. Horses weren’t just animals to him—they were partners, friends, and a part of who he was.

Off the track, Jairo was an avid soccer fan. He loved the game as both a player and a spectator, and cheered fiercely for his favorite team, Barceloneta. Whether watching a big match or kicking the ball around, soccer brought him joy and a sense of belonging.

Jairo cherished his time with his beloved fiancée, Evelyn—affectionately known as Bibi—and found joy in the laughter and love of her grandchildren, who brought light into his days. He was proud to be a father to Jairo Martinez Jr., and held his family in his heart, including his mother, Salome Francisca Perez, and father, Arnoldo Martinez Fabian.

He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Erwin, Areli, Deborah, Imer, and Julia.

Though Jairo walked a quiet path, his presence left a lasting impression. He lived a life rooted in hard work, deep passions, and a quiet devotion to those he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew his heart.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.
