Gretchen M. Mace

Gretchen "Gretch" M. Mace, age 62, of Elsmere, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Gretch graduated from Delcastle High School in 1982. She worked as a house cleaner with several local cleaning companies. 

Gretch was an avid Phillies and Blue Rocks fan and loved the San Francisco 49ers. She enjoyed going to the beach and Cowtown Rodeo and loved spending time with her grandson. 

She is survived by her sons, Anthony Duonnolo (Jessica) and Brandon Holveck; mother, Elaine Field; sisters, Terri Janvier (Franny Pucci) and Rachel Manger (Jimmy); grandchildren, Mason Duonnolo and Skyler Evans; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
