Gladys Hobbs

Gladys P. “Glady” Hobbs, age 79, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Glady enjoyed quilting, walking at the mall and visiting Chick-fil-A.

Glady was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years in 2009, James M. Hobbs and by 5 of her siblings.
Survivors include her son, Larry Hobbs; her daughter, Barbara Lindell (Ric); her sister, Reba Hobbs; her brother, Sheryl Moore (Joyce); her grandchildren, Dana Hobbs, Tina Auen (Scottie), Jason Lindell, Erin Cox (Brian Cox) and Sarah Hobbs (Zach Oakes); her great grandchildren; Austin, Jamal, Nick, Jaheim, Dylan, Sydney, and D'ayzia, Allison and Hannah.

Funeral services will be at 7pm on Thursday, January 3, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 6pm. Interment will be at 10am on Friday, January 4 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
