George "Dola" Williamson

George “Dola” Williamson, age 66, lived life on his own terms and accepted death on his own terms.

Dola spent many years as a fireman for Minquas Fire Company and continued as a volunteer until his death. He retired from New Castle County Public Works after 20 years.

He loved motorcycles and trips to Myrtle Beach Bike Week. He had a TastyKake route and distributed to many stores in Myrtle Beach.

He is predeceased in death by his father Orrie W. Williamson , his mother Joan M. Williamson and his brother Orrie W. “Bill” Williamson, Jr.

Dola is survived by his two adult children, his brother Sam Williamson (Claire) and sister-in-law Joyce Williamson.

Per his wishes his burial will be private.
