Edwin Reyes

Edwin “Pepo G” Reyes, age 38, of Newark, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 5:21 pm.

Edwin was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Delaware when he was a teenager. He graduated from A.I. DuPont High School in 1997. He received a degree as a nursing assistant from Harris School of Business in 2013. He enjoyed singing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughters, Brianna Reyes and Laycha Reyes; his son, Ezekiel Reyes; his parents, Edwin Reyes and Anna Gonzalez Colon; his sister, Glorivee Reyes; his brothers, Jose Reyes, Erwin Reyes, Jonathan Reyes, Ricardo Reyes, and Daiwin Reyes; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 28 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edwin’s memory can be made to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
