E. Marcus

E. Ben Marcus, age 84, of Stanton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2, 2010.

Ben was a technician with the Du Pont Company, retiring in 1985 after 39 years. He was a W. W. II Marine veteran, and was a graduate of P. S. Du Pont High School.

Ben was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. Marcus in 2002. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Polly Marcus, of Newark and their family and his brother, William Marcus of Smyrna.

Funeral services will be 6 PM on Tuesday, July 6 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 5 PM. Burial will be private.
