Dwight David Harrah, age 56, of New Castle, DE passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Born in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of Shelby J. Harrah and the late Paul P. Harrah.
David worked for the Red Clay school district for more than twenty years. He enjoyed watching sports, going fishing and loved horse racing at Delaware Park.
In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey A. Harrah and sister Crystal A. Talarowski.
He is survived by his mother Shelby J. Harrah, sister Vicki D. Becker (Michael), brother Philip K. Harrah, and step-daughter Laura Winner and his many beloved cats.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4th at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804.
