Diane D. Minsker

Diane D. Minsker, age 80, of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Diane was born in Akron, Ohio. She was retired. She will be best remembered by being a loving and caring mother, grandmother, nana, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She also loved spending time with her family, doing crafts, music, cooking and baking for the holidays with her family. She had a love for animals and her beloved dog Buddy.

Diane is preceded in death by her mother and father, Margret and Ray Ellifritz and her siblings, Carol, Doris, Sharon, Butch and Bill.

Diane is survived by her daughters, Laura Arnold (John) and Kim Buckley (Bob Deceased); her son, Richard Shewbrooks; her grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 24 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am.
