David L. Young, age 64, a resident of Coral Springs for 30 years, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
David was a United States Air Force Veteran and worked as a lab technician. He graduated from Parkersburg High School, where he played football, and attended St. James Church in Newport.
After becoming disabled, David participated in Special Olympics and won many gold medals. He loved soccer and football and was a huge West Virginia Mountaineers fan.
David is preceded in death by is sister, Louise Young, and his nephew, Eddie Passmore.
A burial with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road Bear, DE 19701
