In Loving Memory of David Sherman Windsor Sr., of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday 5-21-2026 at the age of 54.

David is predeceased by his mother, Patricia Blinn Windsor, his father, Sherman Alexander Windsor, his brothers Robert Windsor and Brian Windsor, along with his nephew Michael Windsor.

David is survived by his brother William Windsor, his wife Melinda Windsor, his three sons Kevin Windsor, David Windsor Jr., and Brian Windsor, along with his two daughters Megan Windsor, and Morgan Windsor. His grandchildren Madison Windsor, Cameron Crawford Jr., Gabriella Crawford, Alexandra Paoli, Isabella Paoli, Stella Farmer, Odin Farmer, and David Sherman Windsor the 3rd.

David was a man of honor, love, and respect for anyone who really knew him. He loved to go fishing and camping, those trips were always full of laughter and LOTS of smoking, and grilling, which he loved to do.

David was a jack of all trades, there wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix with his own two hands. He never used bandages for his cuts and wounds, and instead would turn to electrical tape and duct tape. In David's younger years he worked as a Mason/Carpenter with his twin brother Brian, eventually moving on to become a master carpenter. He was one of the most respected and hardest working men anyone had ever met. Although he loved to work, he loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren more, along with his coffee and plenty of sugar.

David will never be forgotten, and will always be loved and missed.

His service will be held privately for his family only.
