Christopher P. Orzechowski, age 61, of Wilmington went to be with the Lord and join many friends and family waiting for him on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Chris was born in 1964 to Helen and Walter Orzechowski. He graduated from Delcastle High School and worked most of his life as a tradesman. Best known for his painting, he was really considered a jack of all trades.
Chris attended St. Hedwig's Church and was very proud of his Polish heritage. He enjoyed life on the water, especially fishing and boating. A friend to anyone that knew him, he also took immense pride in being a Dzadzi to his grandsons.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Walter; brother, Ted; sister, Renee; and sister in law, Becky.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Orzechowski; daughter, Heather M. Rafail (husband, Greg); grandsons, Landon and Dalton Rafail; brother, Thomas Orzechowski; Cioci Irene and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who cared for him deeply.
Services will be private.
