Christine "Chrissy" Lydic

Christine Lydic, age 70, of Newport, formerly of New Castle, went with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Chrissy graduated from William Penn High School and worked as a school bus driver and a warehouse worker.

Chrissy was a faithful member of her church. She loved to cook and enjoyed watching television, especially Supernatural, cooking shows, antique shows and the news.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Richard White; her daughter, Laura White; and her sister, Cynthia Lydic.

Survivors include her son, Clint Greene (Chanel); step son, Rick White; step daughter, Theresa Greene Brown; sister, Daphne Brown (Billy); grandchildren, Kadence and Koryn; and her boyfriend, Ronald Moore.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 28 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 2 pm. Burial will be private.
