Catherine M. Kocielski

Catherine M. Kocielski, age 66, of Wilmington, formerly of Claymont, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Cathy was a 1977 graduate of St. Hedwig High School. She worked for Strawbridge’s for several years and also the Brandywine School District. Cathy enjoyed bingo, gardening and cats. Her greatest accomplishment was her son, Frankie.Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Catherine Connolly; sister, Anne Goodman and brother, Joey Connolly Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Frank J. Kocielski Sr; son, Frankie J. Kocielski Jr (Donna); grandson, Dominic Costanzo; siblings, Noreen Krajewski (John), Michael Connolly (Chantel) and Margaret Bowers (Andy) and her cats, Claude and Baby.

Funeral Services will be at Noon on Tuesday, August 5 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will be private.
