Carrie passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2014 with her family by her side.
Carrie worked as a teachers aide at Richey Elementary School and as a nurse at Parkview Nursing Home.
Carrie is survived by her husband of 58 years; Charles W. Evans, Sr.; her sons, Chuck, Tom and Rick (Gina); her grandchildren, Chucky, Carl, Eric, Julie, and Ricky; her great granddaughter, Kailee; her sisters, Betty Lewis, Dorothy Moore and Eva Reign; her brothers, Earl and Leonard Wallace.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. Dupont Parkway, New Castle, De where visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
