Annita C. Little

Annita C. Little, age 88, of Newport, formerly of Little Italy, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 4, 2026 after a long illness.

Annita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In the past she attended both St. Catherine of Sienna and St. Matthews Catholic Church.

Annita enjoyed country music, dancing, cooking and hosting parties, especially around the holidays.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles Little, who passed away in 2022; her son, James Jason Little; sister, Linda Wiley and three brothers, Salvatore Candeloro, Joe and John.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Marie Silva; grandchildren, Julie and Emmanuel; and great grandchildren, Carson and Bryce.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026 and Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where viewing will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808.
