Angelo R DiIenno

Angelo R. DiIenno, age 69, of Newark, died on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Angie graduated in 1975 from St. Marks High School where he played football and baseball. He also attended Salisbury University and worked for 20 years for Chrysler and then for Security Industries for 15 years. Angie enjoyed watching sports. He loved the beach but most loved hiking and spending time with his favorite dog Maddie.

Angie was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Barbara DiIenno and his brother, Michael DiIenno.

Survivors include his siblings, Robert DiIenno (Cathy), William DiIenno (Kristyn) and Susan DiIenno-Pacheco (Jose) and his nieces/nephews, Michael, Jessica, Robert, Jeffrey, Evaniz, Jose and Annabelle.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 3 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
