Angel Luis Santiago Jr.

Angel Luis Santiago Jr., age 32, of New Castle, formerly of Wilmington has Sunset on Friday, October 10, 2025. He was born on May 30th 1993 in Wilmington, Delaware. He is the son of Mother, Pamela Knott and Late Father, Angel Luis Santiago Sr.

Angel was a man of many names (Popi Barz, Nipsey Hustle, Booder) as he was affectionately called by all his loving family members. Angel attended Brandywine High School and had an interest in music, especially rapping. He loved all sports especially football, and was a true die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed watching and playing basketball. Angel was a goofy, loving, respectful man with the most infectious laugh. He was an active member in the community and was always looking to help others.

Including his father, Angel Luis Santiago Sr., he was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Brenda Lynch; Grandfather, Bernard Lynch; Cousins, Jamiel Hawkins and Carvonte Lynch; and Uncle, Carl Lynch.

Left to forever cherish him is his daughter, Skyler Chapman; mother, Pamela D. Knott; siblings, Donette Knott, Denise Knott, Dana Knott, Jennifer Rivera, Eva Santiago, Pablo Santiago, Jesenia Santiago, Melanie Santiago; Aunt, Wanda Waterman; his loving forever friend of 7 years Chera Thompson; his dear friend Dr. Phil; Niece and Nephews, Lamya, Charnae, Cartrell, Elijah, Seonni, Noble, Doriyea, Jay’vion, Kyler, Jayla; a host of many more nieces and nephews; his closest cousins Renee Lynch, Jarrell Hawkins, Donte’ Richardson; and a host of loving cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Catalyst Community Church, 410 Denver Road Wilmington, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.
