Obituary for William J. Falgowski
Bill passed away peacefully at The Summit on December 13, 2023 at the age of 86.
He was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Madeline and William Falgowski. After graduating from Wilmington High School, Bill joined the Delaware National Guard in 1959 and was awarded the Medal of Military Merit.
Bill was happily married to the love of his life, Lorraine (Frayne) Falgowski for 48 years. They raised three children. Bill was a kind, loving and supportive father.
Bill was the life of every party. He filled the room with love, laughter, and Billy jokes.
Bill retired from J.P. Morgan where he enjoyed his career in Facilities Management. A devout Catholic, Bill was active in the parishes of St. John the Beloved and later at St. Joseph’s in Middletown.
Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine, his parents, and his sister Barbara Lloyd.
Bill will be forever remembered by son, Michael (Pati) Falgowski, of Wilmington, DE, daughters; Maureen (Tony) Moss, Port Deposit, MD, and Marilyn (Gary) Turner of Earlville, MD, 3 grandchildren; Jessica (Hadi), Dillon (Andrea) and Dalton (Kristyn), 2 great grandchildren Max and Bennett, his sister Loretta Lopatka (Charlie), as well as extended family.
Services will be private.
