Obituary for Suzanne Powers
Suzanne Powers, age 69, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Ingham, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2023.
Suzanne worked as a security officer and a bus driver. She was also active at the St. Francis Life Community Center. Suzanne loved playing solitaire, going to Rehoboth Beach, and she loved her dog, Nina.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her best friend, Vivian Tucker; and her parents, Russell B. and Nancy Powers.
Survivors include her sons, Benjamin Powers and David Powers (Lydia); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Jr., Alexis and Desiree; and great grandson, Noah
Services will be held at Noon on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
