Obituary for Ronnie D Gilman
Ronnie D. Gilman, age 32, of Newark, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
Ronnie was a 2006 graduate of Delcastle High School, his career and passion was auto detailing and body work. Ronnie's death was sudden and unexpected, although he struggled with drug addiction, Ronnie had a heart that everyone loved and an ear that everyone turned to when they needed someone to listen. Those that knew him will tell you that Ronnie had a heart of gold and would give the shirt of his back to any stranger in need. He was loved by many and blessed to have many people in his life, from family and friends to the brothers and sisters he met at Oxford House. Ronnie was blessed to have bonus parents and siblings in his life, Flip, Sharon, Jeff and Rebecca, they treated Ronnie as part of their family and that bond was never breakable despite his downfalls. Ronnie leaves behind 3 beautiful children which are his greatest accomplishments in life. Ronnie was proud to be called Papa and now he is their Guardian Angel. Our son entered this world known by Ronnie and he leaves this world as everyone's Guardian Angel named Gilmando.
Ronnie is preceded in death by grandparents aunts, uncle and cousin's
Survivors include his mother, Dana Gilman; father, Ronnie Danner; love of his life, Bridgette Brown; children, Jaelynn, Lazarus, Saraphina; and brothers, Steven Danner, Cody Runyon, and Tyler Danner.
Services will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 6 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will be private.
