Obituary for Ronald L. Wiant

Age 68 of Newark, formerly of Grafton, WV went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 24, 2012 in the presence of his family.

Ron served in the Navy as a corpsman aboard the USS Muliphen. He was a Lab Technician at the Dupont Chambers Works for 32 years before retiring in 2000.
Ron was an active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, the Ionic Masonic Lodge #31 and was the Chairman of the USS Muliphen Association.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years Joan M.; his sons, Brent L. and fiancée Sherry and Tim and his wife Jennifer; his brother, David and wife Mary Jo; grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Matthew, Zachary, Tyler; and his extended family.

Memorial services will be 12 noon, Thursday, March 1st, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church where Masonic services will be held at 11:45 a.m. and where visitation will begin at 11:00a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions in Ron's memory to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Rd., Newark, DE 19711.
